Lisa is the founder and teaching pastor of North Shore Assembly. She has a passion for digging deep into the word of God and making it applicable to every day life. She dreams of the church being a place where people find God, themselves and a love for others, a place where people discover all that God has created them to be and, in turn, influence the world around them for Christ. Lisa and her high school sweetheart, Herb, got married in 1994 and have two very cool college age daughters, Juliette and Cordelia (yes, there is a Shakespearean theme there!). After enjoying her time as a stay at home mom and finishing her grad work, Lisa went to work as an associate pastor in Port Washington. In January of 2010, she and Herb followed God’s leading to start NSA and in 2015, they moved to Mequon. Lisa is an avid writer and reader. She enjoys building and renovating houses with Herb, shopping and watching football with their girls and sitting down with a good book. She also has a major obsession with shoes – well, heels to be more specific.
